FC Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has revealed he would like France international Ousmane Dembele to remain at the club.

Ousmane Dembele was the hero for Barcelona last night has his second-half extra-time strike gave Barcelona all three points against Real Valladolid.

Recently Dembele has been linked with a move out of Barcelona and English side Manchester United is his likely destination which will probably end Dembele's four years plus stay with the La Liga giants.

With injuries also a point to consider when it comes to any club that will love to sign the 23-year-old as injury has been a major concern in his career. Dembele has managed to stay fit this season and has been instrumental for Barcelona when called upon.

Speaking with reporters after yesterday's game, Ronald Koeman revealed he would love to see Dembele remain at the club as he is an important player for the team.

"He's an important player,' Koeman said

"Physically, he's improved a lot; I think that's been the key to his quality and consistency to play so many games. So, yes, if it's up to me, I would like him to stay with us."

Barcelona will hope Dembele continues to stay fit as they continue to fight for the La Liga title this season. They would also love to tie him down on a new contract as he enters the final year of his with the Blaugrana.
