"It would be stupid to decide my future on a single match" - Kylian Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe was impressive for PSG last night as they thrashed Barcelona 4-1 at the Camp Nou.

The France international got a Hat-trick doing the game even though Barcelona went ahead through Lionel Messi's penalty in a mouth-watering Uefa Champions League clash at the Camp Nou.

With odds against PSG before the encounter and with the absence of key player Neymar Jr and Angel Di Maria, Kylian Mbappe and fellow attacking partner Moise Kean made sure the Ligue 1 champions left Spain with a much needed first-leg advantage.

Speaking with RMC Sport concerning his future at PSG after the game, Mbappe revealed he is happy at the club and that he holds the PSG shirt dear to his heart.

“We are very happy," Mbappe said. "It was a very important match for us. We wanted to come here and win, and we did it in style.

"Tonight, it is magnificent but we have not won anything yet. I am happy. I always want to give the best of myself. I have not always had that success. But never in my life will I hide.

"Today, my hard work is paying off ... We are feeling better and better physically [after our Covid-19 outbreak].

"It would be stupid to decide my future on a single match. The truth is that it is about reflecting for the long term. I have always said that I am happy here. This sort of match makes me even happier. ... The PSG shirt is one that I hold dear to my heart.”
