Barcelona knew who Mbappe was - Junior Minguella

Football agent Junior Minguella has revealed what Barcelona thinks about PSG man Kylian Mbappe and how they didn't consider signing him.

With Mbappe having just a year left on his PSG contract, there are still talks where he will be playing next as many Big clubs are looking to sign the France international.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool, Chelsea, and some other European giants are monitoring his situation and it will be a tough one for Mbappe to choose if he decides to leave PSG.

Junior Mingualla has now revealed what Barcelona thinks of Mbappe and how he spoke with the club's president concerning bringing the France international to the Camp Nou.

"Barcelona knew who Mbappe was, but they hadn't really considered him," Junior Minguella told Radio MARCA.

"One time, I spoke to the president and it was clearly a disappointment that they didn't sign him.

"[Josep Maria] Bartomeu, I don't know if he tricked me, but he told me that the sporting directors weren't sure about the signing.

"It was around 130 million euros plus 25 million euros in add-ons.

"At the time, Real Madrid wanted Mbappe, but they didn't have an agreement with the player.

Minguella also revealed what Barcelona will be doing immediately after their presidential election in March.

"First of all, you have to convince Haaland and Mbappe on the sporting reasons [to join]," Minguella added.

"Then you study the financial viability of the operation. Signing them both at once is difficult, but one after the other...

"If I was Mbappe's agent, I'd try to take him to Barcelona at all costs, if it's viable financially."
