Van de Beek is not happy at Manchester United - Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Van de Beek joined Manchester United from Ajax in hopes of being one of the club's best payers but he has only started two Premier League games.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed the 23-year-old is not happy at the club because he is not getting much playing time as he is a wonderful player. But the problem is,  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer always has lots of players to choose from.

Speaking ahead of Manchester United clash with Liverpool in the Emirates FA Cup on Sunday Solskjaer admitted he was in the same situation at one point during his playing day and Manchester United and he wasn't happy it.

"Of course, he wants to play more, but he gets about his job in the right manner.

"We are doing well and have got players who are playing really well in his position."

“He reminds me a lot about myself, when I first came in, that he understands my difficulties and challenges," the Norwegian continued.

"I was the same with Sir Alex [Ferguson, former Man Utd head coach]. When he left me out I understood and I was happy for the team to win - and Donny is that type of guy.

“He knows he is important for us and knows he is going to play many games."

Ahead of the game against Liverpool,  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed Van de Beek will be involved and might be the deciding factor in the
game.

“He will definitely be involved in this game against Liverpool and he might be the deciding factor in the game," Solskjaer added.

“He trusts his own quality. He is a quietly confident guy who deep down knows he is good enough and is just waiting for his opportunity.”
