I want to keep improving every day - Hudson-Odoi

Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has set his sight on improving every day and finding ways to help his team.

Odoi was influential for Chelsea in their last game against Morecambe scoring a goal and also threaten the opposition defense with his skills and ability.

The English young star who has made 16 appearances for Chelsea so far this season and has been in good form anytime he is called upon though he has only started a few of those games.

Speaking with the official Chelsea website, Hudson-Odoi analyzes the importance of him working hard and educating himself as he wants to always give 110 percent in every game he plays.

“Nobody is a perfect player. There are always flaws and you want to keep improving every day,' Odoi said

“I want to keep working hard and learning every day. I want to keep educating myself whether it’s at home watching clips or just learning under the manager.

“He knows what to do and he knows what is right for me and how to play so I want to keep learning under him and working hard.

“Every time I get on the pitch or in training, I want to give my best every time. I want to give 110 percent in the match.

“I want to always make sure that I’m ready. The best way you train is the best way you play in a game.”

On Chelsea's last game against Morecambe in which they won 4 nil, Odoi praised the performance of his teammates and also reveals the club's plan going into the competition.

‘I’m happy with the result. I think that all the boys played well, He added

‘We never underestimate any game that we play in, so we came into the game with the right attitude knowing that we had to get the job done and we did very well.

‘I’m happy with myself, I’m happy with the team, everybody is excited. We want to be and do better every game so we are going to keep trying in training and keep working hard.

‘It’s a big competition and we want to go as far as possible. We try our best in every game we play and we are delighted to go through to the next round.

‘We keep improving and keep working hard,’

‘This game was a good step for us, we want to go back into the right way of winning games, so hopefully, this is a start of good things and we keep going and keep pushing.

‘We want to keep pushing on from this game and hopefully keep winning games and get a good run. As I said, this game was a good step. I feel like we needed this game to show the right mentality and attitude to get the job done.

‘We kept a clean sheet and scored four goals which is a good thing for us. We want to keep improving at both ends of the pitch. We are all going into the next game against Fulham full of confidence trying to win that game as well.’
