'I'm realistic, winning the title is complicated' - Ronald Koeman

Following yesterday's draw against Eibar FC Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has revealed it will be difficult for the Catalans to win the La Liga title this season.

Barcelona needed a win yesterday to move them from 6th on the La Liga table to 3rd, but it was not their night as they fail to convert all the chances they had and ended up playing a 1-1 draw against Eibar at home.

Speaking after the game, Koeman revealed it will be difficult for his side to win the title this season cause of the transition in the team and cause of injuries also.

I'm realistic, winning the title is complicated," Koeman said

"Nothing is impossible, but we have to recognise the distance.

"Atletico look very good to me. They're very strong and they don't concede many goals."

Messi and Gerard Pique were not part of the team that faced Eibar and one could tell during the game that the team lacks leadership. However, Koeman thinks the performance of the boys has nothing to do with leadership.

"I don't want to say that we lacked experienced players," Koeman said.

"There's a transition in the team and we have injuries too.

"We're playing young players, but today we had five or six young players and players with experience too.

"We missed Leo, who makes a difference, but the feeling now is that we should have won.

"We had chances, missed a penalty, and gave away the goal, which was their only shot on target."

Koeman also revealed he is happy to see Ousmane Dembele back into the team and also gave an injury update on Philippe Coutinho

"He [Dembele] is a very important player because of his pace on the wing," Koeman added

"He scored the equaliser and we're very happy with him.

"Coutinho has discomfort in his knee and we'll have to do some more tests to see what the problem is."
