I have one, I want more - Diogo Jota

I have one, I want more - Diogo Jota

Liverpool new boy Diogo Jota is happy he was able to help his team in the win against Arsenal yesterday.

Diogo Jota came on in the 80th Minute of the game yesterday and got Liverpool's third of the evening in the 88th minute securing three-point for the last season Champions over Arsenal who actually went ahead in the 25th minute of the game through Alexandre Lacazette.

The win sees Liverpool move back to second on the Premier League table following three games. Speaking after the game, Jota revealed how happy he is to have scored and how he would be looking forward to more.

‘I just wish it could be with a full stadium but I am happy to seal the win for the team and get the result.

‘In football sometimes you score, sometimes you miss and you have to believe you are going to score and fortunately I did.

‘The first one is always the hardest one, to keep on going is the most important thing. I have one, I want more.’

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville was also happy Diogo Jota could score on his Premier League debut for Liverpool but feels a little bit sad following the build-up to the goal  cause he thinks Mohamed Salah was selfish and that Jota would have gotten a better goal.

‘That is the selfish part of his game.

‘He’s thought, “you’re not having a goal already” and taken it off of him. It was Jota’s ball.

‘His greed is one of his great strengths but he should have left it for his mate. He was never going to get there.

‘He [Jota] would have had a goal if it wasn’t for Salah. You can’t do that. As great a player as he is, he knows that’s not a great look.’
