Eriksen will come good - Jesper Olsen

Eriksen will come good - Jesper Olsen

Former Denmark player Jesper Olsen has back his fellow countryman Christen Eriksen to show his worth in his second season with Inter Milan.

Christian Eriksen decided to switch side from Tottenham to Inter Milan in January following an interesting project in which former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte started when he started bringing in some interesting Premier League players to the Serie A side.

However, his first season didn't go as planned as he wasn't able to secure a starting spot in Conte's team and only managed 17 appearances in Serie A. He started eight of those and others were from the bench. Jesper Olsen believes Eriksen will shine in his second season with the Serie A and as that it takes time to settle in a new league.

"I'm sure a big change from the Premier League," Olsen said

"London and then you go to Milan, a fantastic place. A very good team as well. I'm sure the way they do things is different to how they did things at Tottenham.

"It takes time I'm sure to settle in. Christian can play in any team really. He is probably one of those players you sometimes don't notice as much but he always does his job. Always solid and you can rely on him. I'm sure he will come good.

"He is probably happy the season has come to an end so he can get to know the place a bit better and to settle in for the new season. The way he is as a player, I'm sure he will come good."
