
Dean Henderson has said his farewell to Sheffield United on Wednesday as it looks he will be returning back to Manchester United.
With reports now having it that he is on the verge of signing a new £100,000-a-week contract with the Manchester Side, only a year after signing an extension worth £60,000-a-week. The 23-year-old as now took to social media to say his farewell to Sheffield United fans and teammates.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Sheffield United for the last two years," Henderson wrote.
"Winning promotion to the Premier League with my brothers and having the season we had this season is something I will never forget"
"I would like to thank the manager, my team-mates, the backroom staff and of course, the fans, who have been unbelievable towards me. Report also has it that London side Chelsea are also interested in Henderson but no offer has yet been made from the Blues as they are also looking at the likes of Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid and Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana.
