Ex Fulham forward backs Super Eagles star to get better

Ex Fulham forward backs Super Eagles star to get better

Former fulham forward Leroy Rosenior has tipped Kelechi Iheanacho to enhance his game following his impressive stunt with the Leicester City last season.

Recent reports suggests that the Foxes are willing to sell the Nigerian to fund in Odsonne Edouard from Scottish giants Celtic.

According to Rosenior the u17 winner found it cumbersome to adapt until the intervention of Bredan Rodgers and still percieves him as a natural goal scorer who can get better with time.

“It was difficult for him to settle because he’s not been the main man but when Brendan Rodgers worked on him, he became better, a lot calmer on the ball too but the fact is that he is a natural goal scorer and at the age he is, he can only get better,” Rosenior told EPL’s Fanzone.

He finally added that his arrival from Manchester city generated a pressure for him to impress because of how expensive he was then.

“I think the problem with him is that he is only 23 years old and coming from Manchester City, there was a lot of pressure on him as people expected him to hit the ground running because £25m at that time was a lot of money, so it took a bit of a long time for him to settle.”

The stiker scored 10 goals and provided 4 assist in all competitions for the foxes this season.
