We were not in good shape - Vinicius Junior thinks his side was not prepared for the Real Sociedad game, Real Madrid versus Real Sociedad, Madrid lost at home to Real Sociedad

Real Madrid best player of the night against Real Sociedad on Thursday Vinicius Junior has claimed his side was not in good shape for the game.

Madrid was really below their best during the game and it would be said that Real Sociedad really came prepared.

Real Sociedad drew the first blood during the game thanks to on-loan Madrid man Martin Odegaard, and not long they were 3 goals down with Isak scoring 2 goals in  2minute.

Marcelo gave Real Madrid a lifeline when he put the ball to the back of the net with a left-footed shot. However, Madrid could do much as the game ended 4:3 in favor of Real Sociedad.

Speaking after the game, Vinicius Junior reveals his side was not in good same for the game and that they struggled a bit.

'I would like to ask the fans to keep this way up, we are going to fight until the end of the season in order to win La Liga and Champions League too,' Vinicius said.

'We were not in good shape, and Sociedad plays football really well, they're well-placed in La Liga. It was a difficult match. The only Copa one played at home, and we lost.'

'It is hard to lose at home. We were unbeaten at home and we got beaten on the single match we can't afford to lose. But on the other hand, we keep fighting until the end, fighting to keep in good shape looking forward to the end of this season.'

Vinicius Junior was also asked if he sees himself leaving Madrid as he was linked to PSG during the January transfer window.

'There's no choice, I want to stay at Madrid,' Vinicius replied
