I'm looking for my happiness - Pep Guardiola

I'm looking for my happiness - Pep Guardiola

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has commented on the possibility of him remaining at the club considering their UEFA ban.

The former Barcelona and Bayern manager claim all he is looking for his happiness and that will decide if he remains at the club or not.

However, Guardiola is also focused on the remaining three months of the season and revealed he will be focusing on every game one after the other and that winning each of them is the aim.

Speaking ahead of his side weekend game, Guardiola was asked about his future at Manchester City, and this was his reply

'don’t know,” he replied

'I want to stay one more year and after that it depends. It also depends on the results.'

'When I said a month ago, that in the future we’ll have been together for five seasons, I don't exclude it at all if the club is happy with me and our group to extend the contract.'

'Now I want to be focused on these three months, we have to do game-by-game the best as possible, winning games and after we have time to think.'

Guardiola was also asked about his future and what he is looking for.

'My happiness,' he replied

'I'm looking for my happiness. That’s the only thing I’m looking for.'

Guardiola went ahead to talk about why he is happy at Manchester City and how he will be having a meeting with the club chairman at the end of season or middle of next season.

'For the weather! I have to take care of my skin; people say the sun is not good. Everyone is looking for that to be happy,' He added when he asked about why he loves Manchester

'I'm working with exceptional players and I have the feeling that they follow us 100 percent. I know it's not easy working with us and with me, but I’m happy.'

'That is the only reason why - when I move on always it's because I am thinking I can be happier than the place that I was before. That is the only reason.'

'But I feel I am with a club where we have got incredible owners and a good relationship so I think it will not be a problem to understand both sides if we decide to stay three more years or stay in the time we are together.'

'With Khaldoon [City Chairman] we are going to talk at the end of the season or in the middle of next season and we will see.'
