'We should have done better' - Jurgen Klopp not happy with Liverpool's performance against Tottenham

We should have done better - Jurgen Klopp not happy with Liverpool win over Tottenham, Liverpool going for the invisible, Tottenham vs Liverpool reaction
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed his side didn't play in the win against Tottenham and should have done more.

Liverpool extended their lead on top of the league table to 16 points after they over defeated Tottenham away on Saturday.

Brazil international Roberto Firmino got the only goal of the game in the 37th and the goal was enough for Liverpool to seal a win as Tottenham couldn't equalize.

However, the manager Jurgen Klopp was not all that happy with his side performance and claim they should have scored more goals and kill the game earlier.

The German international went ahead to point out a situation where Andy Robertson was free with the ball on the touchline but couldn't pick out any of his team to get a goal.

'That the game wasn't decided after 50 or 60 minutes was, of course, our fault,' Klopp said

'We had big chances and didn't score with them. 'We had situations where there wasn't even chances at the end of them.'

'We had Robbo on the touchline completely free and had four players completely free in the box and hit the first defender... that should be a big chance.'

'Let's try it at least and we can still miss it. We have to talk about the performance there were a lot of good parts.'

'We should have scored more goals that's the truth. It's not like I go for the boys now and say 'you have to make this' but we have to be honest.'

'When you can score more you have to do that especially against a team like this in a stadium like this where the people were probably not overly happy with the game for the majority of the time.'
