Time to say goodbyes - Olivier Giround is set to have a chat with Frank Lampard, Olivier Giroud is set to leave Chelsea, Chelsea might be lossing Giroud come January

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has revealed he is set to have a talk with Frank Lampard over his future at the club.

Giroud who played an important role for Chelsea last season has struggled with playing time since Frank Lampard was appointed as the new Chelsea manager since the start of the season.

The former Chelsea player and legend prefers Tammy Abraham upfront and always brings in Michy Batshuayi as a substituted whenever he needs to take-off Abraham.

With Lampard sticking with those two, Giroud's only place was to remain on the bench. However, the France international is now tired of the situation and wants to move on.

The former Arsenal man is considering moving back to his homeland in the hope of getting a regular football and also get a chance to secure his place in France's Euro 2020 squad.

'It will be difficult to stay at Chelsea,' Giroud revealed

'I'm going to have a chat with the coach. Chances are, there will be a change because I don't have enough time to express myself on the pitch.'

'For the moment, I am a Chelsea player. I still have some games to play here before the transfer window opens.'

'Then we will sit around a table and find the best decision for me. France is one of the possible solutions.'
