The gaffer showed us a footage at half-tme - Alexander Arnold

Liverpool Right-back Alexander Arnold has revealed what Jurgen Klopp told the team at half-time in the win against Arsenal on Saturday.

Klopp has his boys maintained a perfect start to the season after beating Arsenal at home on Saturday in a mouth-watering encounter at Anfield stadium.

Liverpool got the first goal of the game in the 41min and Mo Salah extended their lead with two quick goals at the start of the second half. Though Lucas Torreira was able to pull a goal back for Arsenal it wasn't important as the did have already been done.

Alexander Arnold has now revealed what Jurgen Klopp told the team at half-time that made them came out stronger and was able to get two quick goals.

‘The gaffer showed us a bit of [footage] at half-time and on how we could stretch them, with Mo, Bobby, and Sadio [Mane], and get it into feet,’ Arnold said.

‘They probably set up knowing that we were going to cross it, they were ready.

‘[Against] other teams we try to create the yard and cross it from in front. The gaffer said to us at half-time, if we get a runner down we can get the ball down the outside.

‘[For Salah’s first], Hendo takes the ball out the way and I’m able to play it into Bobby and we got the pen.

‘That was the idea, to drag a centre-half out and not allow them to stay in and head the ball away.’
