Maurizio Sarri Lacks Respect

Chelsea captain Gary Cahill has open up about his relationship with Maurizio Sarri and also reveal his feeling about the way he was treated by the Manager.

Gary Cahill was an important player for Chelsea last season when they won the FA Cup. He captained the side and he was great support for the London side at the back.

But everything came to an end when Sarri joined Chelsea during the pre-season. The former Napoli coach decided to ignore Cahill and rather stick with Rudiger and David Luiz at the back.

Cahill has now opened up about how he felt right from the beginning of the season and also reveal he feels he was disrespected. Speaking with Telegraph , the England International reveals all.

'It's been really terrible for me personally,' He said

'It will be erased out of my head when I leave Chelsea. My last memory will be last season's FA Cup final.'

'It's been very difficult. I have played on a regular basis over the previous six season's and I've everything with Chelsea, so to be watching from the stands is something I didn't expect.'

'I know how the whole club works, I've got a big relationship with all the players and staff, and yet none of that has been utilised.'

'If you are not playing a player, any player, for two, three, four games, then you don't have to give a reason for that. But if it gets to eight or nine games, then you have to explain the situation. What's going on? But the manager hasn't done that.'

'I see some of the situations with players who won the title with Chelsea, not just myself, and it just hasn't been right. It makes it very hard for me to have respect for someone who has not respected what some of us have won with the club.'

Gary Cahill came on in the 89th minute as a substitute for David Luiz today and played what seems to be his last game for Chelsea in their win against Watford as it doesn't look like he is going to play a part in their last game of the season.

Cahill is also yet to announce if he will be staying in the Premier League or moving outside to have a new experience in another country.

Do you think Sarri was right with the way he treated Cahill?
