Antonio Conte gives Update on Morata's Injury

Antonio Conte has given an update on Alvaro Morata's fitness ahead of the Carabao Cup tie with Bournemouth.
The Chelsea striker picked up a back injury in Chelsea lose to West Ham earlier this month but played the full 90 minutes at the London Stadium before missing the trip to Huddersfield.

The Spaniard returned with a substitute appearance in a 1-0 victory over Southampton at the weekend and will be rested on Wednesday evening against Bournemouth.

When Conte was asked about Morata's fitness, he said: "Yeah he's okay."

"He had this problem in his back before the game against West Ham and struggled a lot with this problem."

"But I think he's working really well, finding his best form. Tomorrow I want to give an opportunity, a chance, fo [Michy] Batshuayi to shine."

Antonio Conte also confirm Charly Musonda will also miss the game against Eddie Howe's side.

"There is Musonda, he has a little muscular problem in his groin,'he added. Not just today, but also for the game against Southampton. He's out."

"And then I think there are no other injury worries."
